This is a clip of Doce Pares Eskrima Grandmaster Cacoy Canete sparring with Professor Zach Whitson during the 2007 Filipino Martial Arts Camp in Pittsburgh.

Grandmaster Cacoy was emphasizes the importance of continual movement and you can notice how Grandmaster Cacoy always is two steps ahead of your counter.  Amazing!
 


Pekiti-Tirsia Third Hand Principle Featuring Zach Whitson

This is a clip of Professor Zach Whitson demonstrating the "Third Hand Principle" concept from Pekiti-Tirsia.

The initial movement in the video is based on an "Empty Hand Versus Knife"  drill and then it evolves into a spontaneous drill with Mr. Ryer picking random lines of attack with the knife and Master Whitson countering.  This is just a glimpse into the teachings of Professor Zach Whitson!
